Ladies in the field 2017 – fitted jacket from Nomad

nomad shooting jacketLadies' fitted jacket from Nomad UK – £340

More from Nomad UK...

Philip Wright, one time international guide and inventor of numerous fly fishing products (travel and fly tying bags and breathable waders) developed a unique range of silent, lightweight, robust, waterproof, breathable fleece garments to cater for arduous deer stalking in inclement conditions. A great believer in practical wear which not only performs to a very high standard but also lasts a very longtime, he believes in value for money and dependability in the field or mountain.

Recognising the lack of appropriate wear for Ladies and with a desire that those involved in country pursuits should be warm, dry and smartly outfitted, Philip started trialling both fabrics and patterns. At NomadUK we know our fabrics ("Stealth Fleece" and lightweight peached microfibre "Grouse") more than perform. Designing garments that that are functional and good looking has been fun.

Now – whether you are picking-up, trialling, driven game shooting or deer stalking – there is a garment or range of garments that not only work together but also are practical, chic and tastefully designed to ensure one is comfortably warm and dry in all conditions. Whether on the grouse moor using pack-away, lightweight garments in a fabric that has never leaked in 26 years, or in a line of guns at a driven shoot or up a high seat in the cold depths of winter, we can assure you will be left feeling 'toasty' warm.

NomadUK also makes custom designed and bespoke tailoring, so please come and visit us at a game fair near you.
