Fancy a unique way to remember a shoot day??

This is the work of wildlife artist Colin Woolf - renowned for his richly coloured landscapes, atmospheric skies and soft plumage - who has recently completed this large painting of a woodcock shoot on the Isle of Islay (and Cornwall, below).

There are over 20 cameo paintings and sketches of woodcock, deer, geese and the countryside to capture the essence of the shoot, and to add to the uniqueness of the piece, the woodcock in the bottom left has been painted with a pin feather from a bird shot on the day.
