How can I contact your subscriptions department?

What is my customer ID number and where can I find it?

Your customer ID number will be 6 digits long. e.g. 012345. This can be found on the address label which you receive with your magazine.  

How many issues do I have left on my current subscription?

You can manage your subscription online. Visit www.mymagazinesub.co.uk/fieldsports using your customer ID number, surname and postcode where you will be able to see how many issues you have left on your current subscription. How do I renew my subscription?

You can renew your subscription online. Visit www.mymagazinesub.co.uk/fieldsports using your customer ID number, surname and postcode where you will be able to renew. How will you acknowledge my subscription order?

If you order a subscription online you will receive an email confirming your subscription order. This will detail when your subscription commences. A welcome email will also be sent out to you detailing your customer ID number and magazine delivery details.

I pay by Direct Debit and I have changed my bank details, how do I amend this with you?

What payment methods do you accept and what is your refund/cancellation policy?

You can pay by cheque, postal order, credit or debit card (not Amex), paypal and direct debit payment. We may not always accept cash at our outside events and advise against sending cash in the post. If you have no other option we recommend you send this via a recorded delivery. If you wish to cancel your subscription or request a refund please contact 0800 059 0200. Please note this can be subject to terms and conditions that are attached to specific offers which include a minimum length of term of subscription. These are published at the point of being promoted.

How do I change my address details?

If I'm giving a magazine subscription as a gift, do you send anything to the recipient?

No, all correspondence for a gift subscription will be sent to the payer.

How do I subscribe to a digital magazine subscription?

How soon after placing an order can my magazine subscription commence?

When you place your order for a subscription it will commence as of the next available issue. See below for magazine publication dates.

What if my magazine doesn’t arrive?

Although we will do our utmost to ensure that your magazine is delivered promptly, on some occasions, it may be unavoidably delayed. If this is the case we ask that you please allow an extra 3 days for delivery before contacting us. If you have still not received your magazine after this time please contact us either by telephone or email. Delays can be caused by a number of factors including postal delays or adverse weather conditions. If we become aware of any potential delivery delays we will advertise this using our social media and website channels.

How long does it take for magazines to arrive outside the United Kingdom?

All international mail is sent by priority. The following approximate airmail delivery times should be calculated from the publication date: Western Europe 4-6 days, Eastern Europe 4-8 days, North America 6-8 days, Central & South America 6-9 days, Middle East 6-8 days, Africa & Asia 6-10 days, Far East and Australasia 6-10 days.


What are the publication dates for your magazine titles?

Fieldsports Journal – is published bi-monthly in the first week of the month in Feb, April, June, August, October, December.
Scottish Sporting Journal – is published bi-annually in July and December.
Gundog Journal - is published quarterly in the first week in March, June, September and December.

What if my magazine arrives damaged?

How long will it take for my online order to arrive and when do you take payment?

Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering.
Delivery can depend on what you have ordered, your geographical location and in some instances the release date of a specified product and where we are in terms of our publication dates.  If you have purchased a single issue, book or bookazine online your order will be processed and delivered within 3-5 working days within the UK and 10 days for international deliveries. If you have ordered a subscription to start with the next issue published and you will receive this on the specified release date otherwise known as the publication date or issue cover date. 

What is a back issue?

A back issue is a past issue of the magazine which is no longer available through newstrade. We hold limited stock which you can purchase directly from us.
